SUVA Consultancy and Training Institute offers intensive English programs that prepare students for using English in the real world. Levels
At SUVA, English course is conducted at six levels from Beginners to Advanced Levels.
Aim:
To provide a varied, stimulating, enjoyable and worthwhile English language course which will improve performance in all four language skills; speaking, listening, reading and writing.
Approach
Each course is based on different daily topics, designed to illustrate different styles of the English language. All levels follow the same broad outline. Student tasks, course materials, activities and timing will differ according to the group level. The emphasis in all courses is on the communication skills; speaking, listening, reading and writing.
SUVA’s English Language Course Covers:
> Speaking: Pair, small group and class discussion; debating; interviews; role play; project work; pronunciation exercises and responding to audio and visual stimuli.
> Listening : Today's radio news; pair, small group and class discussion; listening comprehension tasks; watching film, TV, video and theatre; debates and teacher led discussion and exposition.
> Reading: Newspapers and magazines; articles and extracts; reading comprehension tasks; maps; text books; poetry; prose and lexical sets.
> Writing: Letters; reports; descriptive, factual and discursive writing tasks; vocabulary; note taking and note making; spelling and punctuation.
Upon completion of this course, the participants will be able to:
Reach a level of full proficiency in English and will be able to use the language fluently and accurately in most business and social situations.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Communication skills are important to everyone - they are how we give and receive information and convey our ideas and opinions with those around us. For the better part of every day, we are communicating to and with others. Whether it's the speech we deliver in the classroom, the level of attention we give to our friends when they are talking to us, or the simple look that we give to someone, it all means something. This course will help you understand the mechanics and methods of communication and how to make the most of them.
